Mad Dog Greene resigned from Congress this week sighting irreconcilable differences with the Orange Caricature. So many pundits have been losing their minds over WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR MAGA, TRUMP, OR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY?!!1!?
We’ve seen this before. Sarah “The Quitter” Palin quit the governorship of Alaska halfway through her term so she could go work for America, read that as too much work, not enough grift. And, the VP run whetted her appetite for more. Those are pretty big shoes to fill, but I think Mad Dog Greene is up to giving The Quitter a bit of competition in the race to obscurity and irrelevance.
Here’s what I think. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it in the comments.
The Long Game of MTG
Mad Dog is playing a very long game. It started back in 2017 as Q-Anon took off and a twig snapped in her head. Not only was Q-Anon fun, she could ride that wave to fame and fortune if she played her cards right.
Who hasn’t thought about running for office? It’s like writing a novel or running a marathon. It’s one of those things that many people think about, but few of us do. I figure the thing that pushed Mad Dog over the edge was what we saw earlier this week: the five-year Congressional retirement benefits window.
Just like Orange Finger, she realized that there was gold in them thar elected offices! The hard part was getting elected the first time. Incumbency is hard to beat, especially in Greene’s district. She had it wired:
- Get into office
- Stay in Trump’s good graces
- Fuck around for five years
- Clean up on insider trading
- Retire with the golden Congressional benefits package
That makes the most sense to me. When has Mad Dog Greene ever been serious about her office? She’s been willing to do vaudeville slapstick on the national stage to entertain the stooges of MAGA and Q-Anon. She has no more self-respect than Trump or any of the other personality disordered hangers on that he’s attracted. It’s all. self-serving, all the time, baby,
This was the MTG five-year plan.
The Even Longer Game of MTG
Somewhere on her way to a grifting empire, something else occurred to her: Trump is gonna die soon, and he’ll be gone from national politics one way or another. When that happens there’s going to be a vacuum and an ugly fight to fill it. What she needs is to separate herself from Trump and the pack. She needs to distinguish herself in the eyes of the base.
Let’s face it Mad Dog, you are the ultimate useful idiot. You were a fierce Trump defender and constant Trump promoter, but you were never respected, trusted, or an insider. And, you were never going to be. You had too many strikes against you:
- First, you are a woman.
- Second, you are not Trump’s type.
- And third, she doesn’t bring anything to the table other than minor popularity and a willingness to humiliate herself in the grossest way possible on the world’s stage. Something Trump recognizes as the mark of a desperate loser.
The Future of Mad Dog Greene
Her time in Congress showed her that success was possible for her. Watching Trump showed her that grift and corruption at the highest levels were possible. And, somewhere along the way to the conclusion of her first five-year plan, came another. She could slide right into Trump’s lifts.
Obviously, America neither needs or wants a serious president. She wouldn’t have to do anything other than she’s doing now: insider trading and self-dealing. What could be easier or more profitable for her?
So, what do you think? What is Mad Dog Greene really up to? It can’t be that she is. moved by the plight of hapless American’s as inflation creeps up and health insurance premiums skyrocket. I mean, this is Jewish Space Lasers and Gazpacho Police that we’re dealing with.

Heh. I’ve had this in my inbox to read, because I had the same Sarah Palin thought. Busy-ness beyond my control has made me late to the party, but I guess that’s OK, because you know? I’m not certain I’ve heard a thing about her since US Thanksgiving weekend! So, there’s that. But, yeah, we’ll be paying her retirement for the rest of her life. sigh

Howdy Ali!
I hear you about business. It has been nonstop, but I submitted my permanent resident application to Immigration Canada yesterday. Fingers crossed.
I think the US political press makes a big mistake by taking Republicans as being on the level about anything. They just cannot be trusted, and they cannot be counted upon to have an empathetic humanitarian response to anyone or anything.
That’s why my only thought about MTG’s retirement is that it is about the grift and nothing more.
Huzzah!

and this too shall pass—There isn’t a single well known person (Or facsimile thereof) who will not eventually pass from the scene and become a footnote in History.

One day we will all wake up to find that Trump has blundered his way off of this mortal coil. The question is what will be left.

What will be left will be the ash heap of a society gone wrong for many years — and the inevitable cycle of empirical demise will have been served …we are fairly near to becoming a wasteland now …not much further to go… a little more division … a little more concern with personal self gratification over national interests ….a few more million dollars to be gained in selling the bones of the democracy …This a crossed Rubicon and only divine intervention can save the day.

That is the question. I still have not figured it out but there is something she is up to for certain. Have a great day my friend chuq

MTG thinks she is more clever and important than she is. She’s made her money, now she’s gonna screw it up by going for more.
