Poor Whites Voting Republican

Many have wondered why people vote against their best interests by electing candidates that support policies and laws that will hurt them. Why do so many people believe what Donald Trump says when it is so clear that he is lying? Why do we have an election in which so many voters are angry and disaffected and in a “revolutionary” mood?
