Okay, the election is over. Trump has won. I’ve wrapped up my live blog on the election returns. Read them if you dare. There are at least some amusing things in there if you lke your politics snarky, scarcasticky, and profaney.
I’m going for dinner and a stiff drink — it is 4:00 PM here in China, 3:00 AM on the East Coast.

The Chinese people are somewhat indifferent. The ones in the know are either shocked like we are or are happy because they know it weakens America. If you look at all of Trump’s business deals, you know he gets taken every time. Every. Time. Sometimes, he is even taken by himself. When he owned casinos in Atlantic City. He had three. Two small and one large. He couldn’t figure out why they didn’t make money — he was in competition for himself! By building his large casino (he had to have one of the biggest) and not removing the two smaller ones (he had to have the most), he simply divided the pie into smaller pieces instead of increasing the size of the pie! Christ, our opponents are going to eat our lunch!

Quebec City is one of my most favorite places in Canada, and if we ever move back to North America, it is one of the places that I will advocate for. Ma Femme made me promise that if Trump won, I’d take Canadian citizenship. That was 18 months ago. I figured, there’s no way Trump will win, so I did. Ha ha, eh?

I understand that N. Korea is beginning to advertise for Americans to retire there. They’ve got some cheap housing and low cost of living! I’m sure you’ll fit right in and it will be much better than living here for the next two years.
