The Charlie Kirk murder just keeps getting more Kirk-esque. I’d love to hear from you about a couple of aspects of the world’s reaction to the assassination.

First, I’m appalled at the number of people who have lost their jobs because of social media posts using Charlie Kirk’s own words. It’s all over the world, too, meaning people from other countries. Kirk was a celebrity. You can say a lot about celebrities before you cross the line into slander and libel. Whether that’s right or wrong, when you’re a public figure, people are entitled to their opinions about you whether they are nice or not or based on any proof.

It doesn’t make sense that people are being harmed for expressing “the truth” as they see it about Charlie Kirk, especially when they are just posting quotes from him. Perhaps the worst one was the Washington Post’s firing of its columnist Karen Attiah for criticizing white men.

For the record. My posts were not even about Kirk directly, but about America's apathy towards political violence, and the coddling of white male shooters and hate peddlers. I was fired because I mentioned race: white men and violence– that was my "gross misconduct."

We have lost our goddamn minds. It’s almost as if there is a pressure campaign on by the White House to induce these institutions to toe the line on Kirk or else, increased tariffs for foreign countries, denial of federal monies for institutions, federal investigations, and civil law suits.

What do you think about this ungodly and unprecedented reaction to murder of a public figure? Let us know in the comments.

The other aspect of Kirk’s death is the degree to which conservatives feel they can blame liberals for it. Apparently, Jamoke Dumbass Vance hosted Charlie Kirk’s podcast, and he suggested that everyday people turn fellow citizens in to their employers for criticizing Kirk like they were a Texan reporting the aiding and abetting of an abortion. The only thing that is missing is a bounty for the act.

The reaction reminds me of all the white racist mass shooters that go out and kill a bunch of Black and Brown people hoping to start a race war. It’s like the conservatives learned from the complete failure to achieve that goal by attacking their actual targets, so they hope that if they blame this conservative in conservative violence on liberals that more conservatives will attack liberals and one of us will actually fight back.

Like everything else conservatives are doing, it is fake. This is fake liberal violence. They hope that if they lie about it enough and act like its true that enough MAGA-folk will attack that liberals will be forced to play the other side.

What do you think? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
