Here’s a golden opportunity to meet the inner racist of a kindergarten teacher! A teacher of small children wants to get one of her student’s parents deported. You gotta listen to this conversation to believe it.
Ben Palmer created and advertised a fake immigration hotline where real live average citizens can rat out their Black and Brown neighbors as being possible undocumented immigrants and get ICE to kicking their doors in the middle of the night and drag them kicking and screaming from their beds so that they and their American children can spend the next six months rotting in Dilly Texas eating moldy wormy food, getting respiratory infections, catching measles, not being properly educated, and not getting proper medical care. Because, you know, who wouldn’t want that for one of their six year-old kindergarten students, right?

You can watch it right here, and you should, but you won’t because we can put people on the moon, but we can’t watch video on the Internet without buffering.
Maybe you’re not so surprised that a teacher would snitch on one of her own student’s parents causing untold trauma and emotional pain for that child and their family, irrevocably changing the course of their life, but I am. I was a teacher for over twenty years. Most teachers get into the profession because they love children and want them to have a shot at living their best life and think that a good education is their best bet for achieving it. Most teachers understand that parents play a big role in a child’s life, so you do your part in helping that family unit function well. Most teachers — as we’ve seen on the TV — are trying t protect their students and their families from the depravities of ICE, but not this piece-of-work Karen.
In Her Own Words
Hispanics Where They Ain’t Supposed to Be!
She tells “Greg,” the alias that Ben apparently used when he answered the phone, that there is a Hispanic family that drops their child off at school everyday. She grew suspicious of them because, as she confirms to Ben-Greg, they aren’t where they are supposed to be. She tells him that HIspanic people like that are supposed to be in the City.
When Ben-Greg confirms with her that she wants this six year old’s parents deported, she protests that he makes it sound terrible. Terrible, she labels it, but continues with the call and her insistance that the family be investigated and deported.
She Did Her Own Research
She had done some investigating of her own. She looked the family up in the school’s records and found that one of the parents is from El Salvador and the other from Honduras, but the child was born here in the the US of A, making the child a birth right citizen. Ben-Greg asks her if she wants the child’s parents deported after telling her that the child is a citizen based on what she’s said, she confirms, because you don’t want people here who aren’t properly documented. She’s one of the FIFTY PERCENT of Americans who think that all 14 million undocumented people in the US should be deported. But, when he makes her agree with the statement, “You want the six year old’s parents deported,” she responds with, “You make it sound so terrible.”
She doesn’t relent, though, even though she was warned and given an explanation, she persisted.
The Karen Move: Speaking to the Supervisor
She asks to speak to his supervisor when he says that the six year old could be a threat to national security. She didn’t like the possible sarcasm that was being used there even though Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller both imply that its true. Of course, they don’t ever add that such harsh traumatizing treatment of people can lead to their radicaization.
Now, here’s where things get weird. Ben-Greg tells her that his supervisor’s name is Brian and that Brian will call her back to follow up on her complaint. When Brian calls her back, she remarks that he sounds just like Greg, but Brian continues without explanation and she seems to accept the “coincidence.” But, then, Brian refers to his subordinate as Brian, “It looks Brian said we did confirm the documented status of these individuals.”
Her Inner Racist Revealed
The inherent racism revealed in the call: Hispanics belong in the city not out in the suburbs. Hispanics may be — probably? — are undocumented, so we should go out of our way to ensure that they are deported if they are. Unconcerned with and not taking any responsibility for the trauma that separating families or putting a family through the ICE deportation meat grinder would have on the child or them. And, the offense at being told that a six year old might be construed as a threat to national security. It’s okay for me to harm these foreigners, but don’t you dare judge me form my cruelty and inhumanity.
I’ll say it again, a poll conducted in the middle of February of 2026 found that FIFTY PERCENT of adult Americans thought that all 14 million undocumented immigrants should be deported oblivious to the detrimental effects this will have on our economy and social structure.
That really is a clear illustration of the internalized inherent racism in our culture. It is so subtle, intuitive, and normal that we go through it without even a suspicion that it is there. Who wouldn’t want a six year old’s parents deported if they were here without documentation? It’s the right thing to do! It’s not my fault they have a six year old vulnerable child! That’s on them! They shoulda thought about an authoritarian regime taking over the country and brutalize them as we deport them. It’d on them. We can’t be expected to do the right thing and uphold the tenets of our Constitution, human rights, or humane treatment. Once they’re turned in, our hands are clean. We’re done the right thing.
Fuck these people.

In the authoritarian surveillance state, the goal is to get everybody snitching on everybody else. From that point of view, she was doing her patriotic duty. Her racism made it feel good. Getting sarcastically called out on it didn’t make a dent.

Howdy Bob!
The sarcasm hit a nerve with her. It didn’t penetrate, but it irritated enough for her to talk to the supervisor. By investigating and calling the hotline, she was joining the Trump club of racism or affirming herself as a member in good standing. Any suggestion that what she was doing was racist, should’ve gotten an angry rebuke and protest that she was following the law and doing her duty. The racism still safely ensconced and unexamined in her soul.

But the most disgusting part of all of it is that she can hide her racism behind the flimsy facade of law and order. What’s worse is that half of the population is just like her.
