Is Trump using and going to use over-classification (and even shredding) to protect himself? Of course! In Washington, the control of information is often a greater source of power than money or votes, and everybody knows it there. The refusal to allow any form of cooperation with Congressional investigations is a case in point.

The effectiveness of refusing to cooperate with Congressional investigations is the amazing part of it. Of course, it means that the Senate and, at least, some of the judiciary have to go along with it. Or, in the case of the judiciary, slow walk it through the courts until time renders the whole thing moot.
