Join me in wishing our Vice President, Kamala Harris, a very happy birthday, today.

Presidential administrations work in about as mysterious of ways as God does, so I’m sure that a firebrand like Harris is advocating for her constituents and working hard on Central American immigration and voting rights. I mean, she’s hired two new aides and everything. One is a speechwriter and the the other specializes in crisis communication. Hopefully we’ll be hearing a little more about what she’s been doing and seeing a little more by way of results. God knows, this administration — like the rest of us — needs some good news and for everything to calm the fuck down and run smoothlier for a change.

So, happy birthday, VP Harris! Now, get back to work, knock some home bacon outta the park, and win one for the Gipper, slugger!
