Friend o’ Ye Olde Blogge, Tengrain, has this post on a favorite of Ye Olde Blogge, Mock, Paper, Scissors, describing an act of vandalism by the Felon Reich at the National Portrait Gallery. It would seem that some admin schmuck has taken offense at the caption accompanying the Orange Caricature’s portrait noting that among his other accomplishments that he was impeached twice and directed the 6 January Insurrection. Anticipating the preferences of our Megalomaniac, the caption has been replaced by one omitting references to one of the few things he’s done better than any other occupent of the office, being impeached and refusing the peaceful transfer of power after losing an election.
What else distinguished him from everyone else other than having killed more people than any other administration? Maybe it is that he’s wrecked the economy twice? Caused the world’s temperature to exceed one and half degrees of warming, worsening the climate crisis? Been the focal point of the country’s biggest protests?
He obviously has a plethora of accomplishments to choose from, which makes any patriotic resister visiting the National Portrait Gallery easy. Replace the current lack luster accomplishment-less caption with one that truly describes the achievements that distinguishes the Orange Menace from all his betters.
Seriously, this should be a thing. We should be reading news reports about how the staff at the National Portrait Gallery has to continually replace his pictures caption — and honestly, why not his picture, too? — because visitors keep defacing it with the truth?
Your resistance assignment:, if you choose to accept it is to visit the National Portrait Gallery and replace the caption of Trump’s picture with an accurate rendition of his accomplishments to date.

There is paper available like that for labels and stickers, but full 8.5X11 sheets suitable for printing or hand decoration. One could bring it, peel off the backing and stick it on. It certainly sounds fun, but probably not without consequences if caught. There must be rules against it. Still, it could become a thing to be sticking up such lists on other public places.
