I was writing from the perspective of the religious right. They say, hate the sin, but love the sinner, but they behave as if they believe, hate the sin, punish the sinner. They seem to want to use access to birth control and abortion to punish women with pregnancy because they have sex out of wedlock. I’m trying to draw attention to that twisted bit of logic.
However, I clearly have not succeeded in communicating my desired message. I know what I mean, but I should rework the meme so that it is clearer. Thanks for pointing it out.
