The Old FART squatting behind the gilded Resolute Desk likes to keep the news coming at us fast and furious so that we can’t adequately respond to it all. It is the explosive diarrhea approach to propaganda and controlling the news cycle. I often find myself wishing I had posted on some subject or story, but just didn’t have the time. Now, when I get enough I woulda coulda shoulda posteds, I’ll dig them out of the dustbin of Ye Olde Blogge and just list them out.
Trump has never won anything fair and square, so why does anyone think he started in 2016? Did he try and fail in 2020 but correct his mistakes in time for 2024?
Now you know how Trump bankrupted six casinos:
- ONE BILLION: Changing the name of the Depart of Defense to the Department of War.
- ONE MILLION PER DAY: Keeping the National Guard in Washington DC to pick up trash costs a million dollars a day, and they may remain until the summer of 2026. Sibling, DC is going to be completely devoid of litter in the next year. It’s going to be so clean the Guard will be eating the cats and dogs of the undocumented workers there!
- MORE THAN ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES: The Orange TACO Stain’s budget allocates $170 billion over four years to ICE. That’s more than the combined cost for all of the country’s local and state law enforcement agencies. Make America Great Again, free us from the undocumented gardners, nannies, housekeepers, and construction workers!
- DON’T CRY FOR MILEI, ARGENTINA: The Grifter-in-Chief knows where the money is coming from and it ain’t the American taxpayer, yet — Just wait y’all, our turn in the barrel is coming. Some of it is coming from the very unpopular and disastrous President Milei because he just bought himself a $40 billion bailout while American farmers are forced to sell to the corporations!
- A TRILLION AND STILL GROWING: The US debt just hit $38 trillion — that’s the one with the T, y’all! Trump really is number one! Not only is the debt the highest it’s ever been, he added a trillion dollars to the debt faster than anyone in American history! We went from $37 trillion in AUGUST to $38 trillion now! Why aren’t we just taking money off of the tariff shelf to pay for our government?
Trump is suing himself, so why doesn’t he just pay himself the $230 million he wants for the damages that he caused himself and leave the rest of us out of it?
Life regularly throws us lots of challenges. Luckily, we survive them all, except for the last one.

The Psy of Life 
I ran across a post on Kos by an architect pondering the numbers about the ballroom, for instance, an estimated cost per square foot more than triple what would be the industry usual. Hmmm – kickbacks anybody? Oh, right, it’s because of all the gold leaf, right?
There may be some slight chance that the American electorate could finally get it that the GOP is the party of deficit and recession, and personal bankruptcy for the many.
Racking up a Trillion in dept in two months really is quite an accomplishment. At this rate of acceleration, we might hit 40T by Christmas.

They aren’t even trying to hide it. Everything is quid pro quo and for sale with Trump and the fascists. And, there is no one other than the American people to stop him. If we’re going to stop him, though, we can’t rely on the elections. It has to happen well before then. We need to step up our civil disobedience before the 2026 elections.

And, they aren’t even pretending to throw a bone to the three time Trump voters they are screwing over. Instead of “Let them eat cake.”, it’s more like “Let them eat shit and die.” I’m remembering the reaction when Melania wore that coat with “I DON’T CARE” on the back. Now, it’s policy. We will see how that plays.

They don’t need them any more. They think they’ve completely insulated themselves from accountability at the ballot box. Their true colors are stqrting to show. The question is are we going to rise up and throw the rascals out or are we going to let them rob us blind?
