The real problem is the social support that the lies of Trump and the GOP have. To break that social support, we have to consider banning knowingly telling lies for political gain. Those lies are destroying the country.

Can we all agree on two things:
(1) All real live Americans are guaranteed Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness; and
(2) Getting, but especially dying of, the covfefevirus would deprive us of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness; and
(3) No one has a greater right to Life Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness than anyone else. We are all equal in that way.
So, wearing a mask helps us preserve the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, n’est-ce pas?

Things perked up slightly in the Intelligence Committee than they were in the Judiciary. Go figure. Maybe everyone’s coffee had kicked in. You may not agree with my characterization, but I stand by my post. The only remaining question is whether the Dems are adept enough to build on the foundation that they laid or whether the foundation they laid is sufficient to build upon.
It’s another American presidential election, which started more than 18 months before the actual election! American politics are crazy. We are drowning in cynicism! Cynicism is toxic. It kills motivation. It turns people against each other. It stops conversation. It erodes trust. Cynicism is killing our democracy!
Didn’t vote for Clinton, so you pissed away Obama’s last Supreme Court nomination. Now the Pussy Grabber could be looking at one or even two more nominations sealing a conservative majority on the Court for a generation. We could lose every gain we’ve made during the past 60 years. Didn’t vote for Clinton. Are you happy now?
I’m reviewing Katy Tur’s “Unbelievable” in three parts! It’s that good! Fantastic treatment of the campaign, covering a campaign, being a reporter, and being a human being caught up in the Ol’ Pussy Grabber’s gaslighting narcissistic abuse meat grinder. Katy comes out on the other side stronger and better for it… and you will, too.
Clinton’s book is about sexism and intimidating women. Tur’s book is about sexual assault. How many women have experienced sexual aggression? How many men have committed sexual aggression?
How you viewed the condition of the country probably determined your vote. If you saw the country as doing OKAY, you probably saw the Ol’ Pussy Grabber as too big of a risk. But if you saw the country has going in the wrong direction, you were tempted to take a chance on the Ol’ Pussy Grabber. What does behavioral economics, loss aversion, and risk seeking tell us about 2018?
