Man, the Ol’ Pussy Grabber and Election 2016 is the gift that keeps on giving. In this case, the Great Civics Lesson continues in the Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness, edition. Things that Election 2016 and the subsequent four years have shown us is that we’ve forgotten (a) how we elect a president, (b) the importance of voting, and (c) the real basis of our democracy is the integrity of the people occupying the offices. Without all those things, we cannot have Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
The covfefevirus has taught us all these things and more… on steroids. Our whole system is distressed and being squeezed like a laying hen with constipation. You know what comes out of that? Well, it ain’t Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, it is anti-maskers.
The Ol’ Pussy Grabber cannot execute a plan to escape the wet paper bag that his pee-hookers have him in. Instead, he experiences the covfefevirus pandemic, not as a challenge, but as a narcissistic wound which needs to be utterly destroyed. However, the pandemic cannot be utterly destroyed, so it has to be minimized and blame for the debacle shifted to someone else. Consequently, the Ol’ Pussy Grabber couldn’t even wear a mask or maintain social distancing. He probably doesn’t even wash his hands after using the bathroom much less several times a day — okay, he might, on the one hand, he’s a germophobe, on the other hand, he’s an everyday sadist who likes to watch people squirm and suffer. I wouldn’t put it past him to rejoice in touching people with his peed-on hands because he thinks it’s so gross, just like he rejoices in the deaths of 140,000+ Americans because it is a testament to his “power.”
The rank and vile follow suit. Not because it fits with their conservative ideology — it doesn’t — but because, he’s not wearing a mask and is minimizing the threat. It’s been well shown that the rank and vile do not hold strong ideological beliefs and apply them to situations to make their own conclusions — thinking is hard after all — but follow the lead of their favored politicians.
We also know that the way to convince people with diametrically opposed viewpoints is by finding common ground with them. In this case, our common ground is our civil liberties and living in a society together. It’s been a long accepted belief that we all have the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, and that we are not permitted to deny other people their fundamental civil liberties. In other words, we cannot deny other real live Americans their civil liberties. We cannot yell “fire!” in a crowded theater nor can we refuse to wear a mask because in both cases we will denying others their right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We can all agree that getting the covfefevirus would deprive us of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, right? I mean, dying of the covfefevirus would definitely deny us our civil liberties, right?

The design of the masks also seems to play a part in the identity politics you refer today. Across the country, I’ve seen black masks, pro environmental masks, Trump masks…
Corporate America produces these politically charged face wear.

Saving the picture. One point of comment: One definition of Power and Privilege is precisely the ability to deny others their basic Civil Liberties. Spewing your germs on them meets that definition.

Identity politics is partisan politics. It divides and produces out-groups, which, in turn, justifies all atrocious behaviors towards the out-group. It’s the only tool in his toolbox. Unfortunately, the covfefevirus knows no boundaries. We’ll be paying for this nonsense for a generation as people are permanently afflicted by the virus.
Given the increasing rate of his destructive behavior and increasing destructiveness of his “policies,” we’ll be lucky to survive until the election much less inauguration day.

I have come to the idea that Trump, if he looses the election, will have to be removed somehow before January 20, in fact as quickly as possible. Of course, he could well go so far and bizarrely off the rails in the face of a defeat that even he cannot deny in any remotely sane way that the clear grounds would be psychiatric inability to continue to serve.

In terms of how far off the rails and insane Trump will be or could be should he lose, it won’t be up to him. He’ll always believe he is on the cusp of victory. It will be up to Mike Pence to organize the removal using the 25th Amendment. The real question will be how much will Ivanka and Jared recognize his insanity.

As for Ivanka and Jared, much would depend on the effect on the business and whether, and if so who, holds the Medical Power of Attorney and POA in the event of disability defined in Donald’s will or living will. He would not have thought to write such things in (or write one at all, maintaining the children’s need to kiss ass), but the lawyers could have insisted even if he insisted on keeping it secret. He clearly would want the kids to know they need to compete to be the heir apparent, much the way Rupert Murdoch did with his sons.

Either that or Ivanka — handicapper’s favorite and the one closest to the action — sees her opening for revenge and to get rid of the old man, let’s it happen. After all, she and Jared have an agreement, so she gets to run for president first.

That would be typical for that family according to Mary Trump. And, the boys would be happy to just keep going trophy hunting.
