The Republican Party has been acting with greater callousness towards the American public. None of their politicians seem to feel guilt, empathy, or remorse for the pain, suffering, or death they cause from the pandemic, the Big Lie, or abortion laws. They are obviously psychopaths.

The similarities between Trump and Hitler don’t end with their use of lying and the Big Lie. It extends to targeting a mutual enemy, keeping people angry and riled up, and sowing chaos whenever possible. The comparison is amazing in how closely it matches. If Trump were capable of planning and executing plans, you’d think he had.

The real danger of Trump is that he has no idea of the harm he causes. When he does realize that he’s causing harm, he enjoys it. It boosts his ego. His followers don’t see non-MAGAs as people. It is why they injure and hurt people over masks. It’s why they parade around with guns. They enjoy the fear they inspire. Trump’s lack of empathy is the root of his failure and a very real and present danger to us all.
