I found myself repeating information about the affect heuristic a lot, so I thought I’d make it into a blog post. The affect heuristic proves that Defund the Police was a dumb slogan that was bound to drive white suburban women to vote Republican.

Real live controlled psychological studies have demonstrated that angry reactions to accusations result in higher status being given to white men! Not so much to women and the not-whites (could be a band name, amirite?). What does that tell us about the Ol’ Pussy Grabber’s strategy for resisting Nancy Pelosi’s attempts to probe him?
Trump’s approval rating has been amazing consistent, low, but consistent. Is that the new normal? Is it due to partisan politics? Is it due to a cult of personality? Or could it be due to the peak-end heuristic?
The Ol’ Pussy Grabber’s polls have never been good and don’t seem to be improving. With almost 50% of the polled populace supporting impeachment, let’s hope that the Repubes and OPG are punished for their hubris in 2018 and the Dems take Congress.
Two recent polls show the depths to which Trump voters and Republicans have deluded themselves. They believe Trump’s lies! They think he is honest! The Resistance has to continually push back against all of the BS coming out of this WH! Keep the pressure on Congress to do the right thing!
